In addition to getting back in shape (FINALLY). We have had a few other things going on in our family.
Our week started off with the grandparents all leaving town for the holiday weekend. We stayed home. And for the first time in a few years we came HOME after church and stayed HOME (other than a quick trip to feed the cows) instead of going to visit all of the grandparents in the area. While we missed visiting, it was nice to have a quiet Sunday.
Grandma and Shaun came by to visit on Tuesday, after they were back home. They brought airplanes for Anton and Zackary and couldn't resist getting Isabel her own sunglasses.
On Thursday Jen was nice enough to watch all three of our muchachos while Linden and I went to the temple. Afterwards we had a nice lunch and visit at her place. THANKS, Jen. The boys had lots of fun. I am sure Isabel did, also. She just doesn't talk about it. We got some fun pictures while there.
The best one of all the kids. It is hard to get all looking in the same direction at the same time and smiling without hands in front of the faces.
Sadie snuggling with Isabel.
Jen and Sadie (Sadie was done with pictures by this time and wouldn't hold still.)
Zackary, always the proud big brother.
Anton loves sitting by Isabel.
When we got home from Jen's, all three of the muchachos had fallen asleep. Linden had to get a picture of Anton sleeping in the car, pants unsnapped, like he had just finished eating Thanksgiving dinner.
Isabel got to wear a pretty dress on Saturday night to go to the adult meeting of Stake Conference with us. Not that she cares. It is fun to see her in the 3-6 month clothes she finally fits.
Linden decided on Sunday to have the boys wear some of his ties rather than their own for church. He thougth it would be fun, I guess. With a few safety pins we were able to make it work and not have the ties be hanging down to their knees.
Zackary: "If I think hard enough maybe the tie won't look so fat on me. Think skinny tie, think skinny tie, think skinny tie."
Anton just had to pretend to be picking his nose in this picture. And of course Zackary had to watch. Notice that Linden still has one of those super skinny ties and let Anton wear it.
My man and little men, trying to look tough for the picture by staring at the cieling. Zackary actually decided to glance down with perfect timing, so I had at least one semi-smiling face.
How wonderful it is to be a family and to be so blessed with many, many friends and family. Thanks for helping us along the way.
