My intention was to make Tyanna a dress.  After thinking about it for a little bit, I decided to have her help me make the dress and give her a first sewing experience.  She did a fabulous job. She was a bit nervous to use the sewing maching the first time. I chose a really simple pattern so that she could do most of the sewing.  She had a lot of fun and the dress turned out really well.  She wore it to school and really enjoyed telling all of her friends that she sewed the dress.
